Separate Israeli Strikes Kill Two More Palestinians in Gaza City and Deir al-Balah

Alongside the Khan Younis strike that killed Muhammad Abu Alwan and Osama Abu Khater, Israeli forces carried out at least two more deadly strikes on September 23, 2026: an aerial attack on a vehicle in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, killed at least one Palestinian, and a separate strike in Gaza City killed at least one more. Al Jazeera put the day's overall toll across Gaza at seven killed, including two more who died of wounds sustained in earlier Israeli gunfire incidents.
