Israeli Strikes Kill 3 Palestinians, Including 15-Year-Old at Northern Gaza Police Station
Israeli military strikes on May 6, 2026 killed at least three Palestinians across Gaza in separate incidents. A 15-year-old Palestinian child was killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a police station in northern Gaza. In Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, one Palestinian was killed and two others wounded in an Israeli airstrike. A third Palestinian was killed by Israeli tank shelling in central Gaza. The three deaths brought the total number of Palestinians killed since the October 10, 2025 ceasefire to approximately 832. Democracy Now! and NPR both confirmed the three deaths in independent reporting. The continued strikes drew renewed condemnation from UN officials, who had addressed the Security Council the previous day urging Israel to halt escalating violence. The IDF did not publicly claim the specific May 6 strikes but maintained standing authorization for operations against armed groups in the vicinity of ceasefire boundaries.
