UN Women: 38,000+ Women and Girls Killed in Gaza Between Oct 2023 and Dec 2025

UN Women released a report on April 24–25, 2026, documenting that at least 38,000 women and girls were killed in Gaza between October 2023 and December 2025 — an average of 47 per day over the 26-month period. The report highlighted the disproportionate impact of the conflict on women and girls, including the mass killing of pregnant women and nursing mothers, systematic destruction of maternal health infrastructure, and the collapse of gender-based violence services. The findings add to the body of evidence cited in ICJ and ICC proceedings against Israeli officials.
