ICC Issues Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant
The International Criminal Court issues arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, including the use of starvation as a method of warfare and attacks on civilians. All 124 ICC member states are obligated to arrest them if they enter their territory. Israel declares the ICC has no authority over it. The US expresses concern about the decision.
