Battle of Austerlitz — Napoleon's Greatest Victory
Napoleon achieves his most celebrated military victory at Austerlitz (present-day Slavkov, Czech Republic), defeating a combined Austrian and Russian army despite being outnumbered. The 'Battle of the Three Emperors' forces Austria to sign the Treaty of Pressburg, dissolves the Holy Roman Empire, and establishes the Confederation of the Rhine under French protection. Austerlitz is studied in military academies worldwide as a model of tactical genius.
