Sisi Receives Qatari PM as Joint Higher Committee Convenes; Egypt-Qatar Economic Partnership Talks Set for October

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Cairo on August 20, 2026, as Doha led its delegation to the seventh session of the Egyptian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee.
