UN Security Council Extends MONUSCO Mandate to December 2026

The Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2808, extending the peacekeeping mission's mandate for another year, directing that any future drawdown be gradual and conditions-based, and narrowing MONUSCO's operational focus to North Kivu and Ituri.
