UN Experts: Rwanda Coltan Smuggling at "Unprecedented Levels"

A UN Group of Experts report found Rwanda had backed M23 militarily and smuggled Congolese coltan — much of it from the Rubaya mine — into its own export chain at unprecedented levels, blending it with domestic ore before selling it into global electronics supply chains.
