SADC Summit Ends SAMIDRC Mission, Orders Withdrawal

An extraordinary SADC Heads of State summit terminated the SAMIDRC military mission's mandate in eastern DRC following the fall of Goma and the loss of South African, Tanzanian and Malawian troops, and endorsed a phased withdrawal of the force.
