Kast and CAF Agree $6 Billion, Four-Year Investment Agenda

| Chile

President Kast met with CAF (Development Bank of Latin America) executive president Sergio Díaz-Granados at La Moneda and agreed a joint work agenda worth US$6 billion over four years, targeting capital-market reform support, housing and employment, infrastructure (railways, metro, ports), water and sanitation access, and border security and customs management. CAF said it would 'accompany that process, not only with financial resources, but also through project structuring and mobilization of private capital toward strategic sectors,' as the government sought outside financing momentum for its stalled economic agenda.
