Less than 24 hours after the second eviction attempt, the Trampolín beach encampment is fully reconstructed with tents made of reeds, tarpaulin and cardboard, and local media describe the coastline as 'a dump again.' Estimates of migrants still in Ceuta diverge sharply by outlet — roughly 5,000-8,000 people, including up to 2,000 unaccompanied minors, are variously reported remaining. The Ceuta Medical Association warns of possible cholera, tuberculosis, measles and infectious-diarrhoea outbreaks given sanitation conditions; the city government says it cannot guarantee cleaning crews' safety and halts beach-cleaning operations for as long as migrants keep returning. The 1,800 places opened across the two new reception centres remain insufficient to house everyone who left the beach.
