Brugada Delivers 106 Subsidized Apartments in Gustavo A. Madero
Jefa de Gobierno Clara Brugada delivered 106 new apartments at the Huitzilihuitl 194 development in the Santa Isabel Tola neighborhood, Gustavo A. Madero borough, representing an investment of roughly MXN 100 million across more than 8,400 square meters and benefiting about 424 people. Each unit (nearly 60 m²) was built to meet international habitability standards — secure tenure, basic services, adequate materials, sufficient space, and accessibility — and includes sustainable water and energy technology; families received zero-interest financing. The delivery is part of the Brugada government's anti-gentrification and affordable-housing push, which has produced close to 2,000 units citywide in 2026 with roughly 9,000 more under construction.
