El Chapo's Son Edgar Guzmán López Killed in Culiacán

Edgar Guzmán López, son of Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán, is assassinated in Culiacán during a daytime attack carried out by Beltrán Leyva hit men. The attack, involving grenades and assault rifles in a busy commercial area, kills two others and injures several bystanders. The killing deepens the enmity between Sinaloa and BLO and triggers additional waves of retaliatory violence.
