BTS Stanford Stadium Night 2 — Second of Three Sold-Out Bay Area Shows; 150,000 Combined Fans Over Three-Night Residency
BTS performs Night 2 of their three-night ARIRANG World Tour Stanford Stadium residency on May 17, 2026 (gates 4:30 PM, show 7:00 PM PT), drawing approximately 53,000 fans in the second of three sold-out California shows (May 16, 17, and 19). The combined three-night attendance of approximately 150,000 at Stanford Stadium represents the largest K-pop concert series in Northern California history. Night 2 follows Night 1 on May 16, when BTS became only the second musical act to perform at the 50,000-capacity venue after Coldplay (May 2025), marking BTS's first Bay Area shows in approximately eight years. The ARIRANG World Tour's 360-degree in-the-round stage configuration at Stanford Stadium allows all ~53,000 fans per night to experience the performance from a central vantage. Stanford is the only Northern California stop on the ARIRANG World Tour. The Bay Area residency comes immediately following the May 14 confirmation of BTS as co-headliners (with Madonna and Shakira) for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final halftime show at MetLife Stadium on July 19, 2026. After Stanford, the ARIRANG World Tour advances to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for four nights (May 23, 24, 27, 28) alongside the 'BTS: The City Arirang' citywide Las Vegas festival running May 20–31. With Stanford Night 2 complete, the group has now played 33 total ARIRANG World Tour shows across South Korea, Japan, US, and Latin America.
