'BTS: The City Arirang' Las Vegas Citywide Festival — 48-Hour Countdown as Sphere, Strip Prepare for ARMY
With 'BTS: The City Arirang' Las Vegas set to open in 48 hours (May 20, 2026), preview coverage intensifies on May 18 as venues and landmarks begin visible preparations. The festival runs May 20–31 alongside four Allegiant Stadium ARIRANG World Tour concerts (May 23, 24, 27, 28). The Las Vegas Sphere Exosphere will display ARIRANG-themed visuals May 22–28 — an immersive, purpose-built branding activation on the world's largest LED sphere. A citywide 'ARIRANG Red Illumination' will light up Strip landmarks including the Eiffel Tower replica at Paris Las Vegas. BTS-branded monorail wraps will cover all seven Las Vegas Monorail stations from May 21 through June 4, and digital billboards across the Strip will run 'Welcome ARMY' messaging from 11 PM to midnight on show nights. ARMY welcome parties are planned at Tailgate Beach Club on May 22 and 26. Arte Museum Las Vegas will host a dedicated BTS activation throughout the festival. Korean-American food partners and Tous Les Jours bakery will offer BTS-themed menus. The Las Vegas leg of the ARIRANG World Tour — the largest single-city block of shows in the North American run — is expected to draw more than 200,000 total attendees across four Allegiant Stadium nights. Bandwagon Asia calls it 'the most ambitious K-pop urban integration of any world tour in history.' The Las Vegas festival model follows the 'BTS: The City' concept pioneered during the Permission to Love Yourself Tour in 2021–2022.
