Regulator Authorizes YPFB to Import and Sell Diesel Directly for a Year
The National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) issued Administrative Resolution RAR-ANH-DJ-UGJN N.° 0625/2026, authorizing state oil company YPFB to import and commercialize diesel oil for its own service stations nationwide for one year — fuel arriving by tanker truck to YPFB Logistics storage plants across departments, each shipment requiring a Certificate of Quality of Origin under Supreme Decree 5619, with monthly volume reporting to the ANH. The authorization follows the Sept. 2 intervention of YPFB (Decree 5697) and gives the state company a direct import channel intended to ease the diesel shortages that have driven blockade threats since August.
