Li Auto Targets Small-Batch Solid-State Battery Integration for 2027–2028

Li Auto senior director Liu Zhimin said the automaker is laying groundwork for solid-state battery technology, targeting small-batch vehicle integration in 2027 or 2028, with mature mass production not expected until roughly 2032–2033. The company cited lifespan, charging performance, and cost as the core unresolved challenges, and said its entire lineup is moving to in-house-developed battery packs.
