Mayor José Luis Abarca and Wife Arrested

Iguala Mayor José Luis Abarca and his wife María de los Ángeles Pineda Villa were arrested in Mexico City after going into hiding. They were accused of ordering the attacks on the students. Abarca was allegedly linked to the Guerreros Unidos cartel. Both were charged with organized crime and murder.
