Students Commandeer Buses in Iguala

Approximately 100 Ayotzinapa students traveled to Iguala to collect buses for transportation to a Mexico City march. This practice of commandeering buses was a known student tradition. They boarded five buses. Iguala mayor José Luis Abarca was hosting a public event at which his wife, María de los Ángeles Pineda Villa (alleged cartel affiliate), was speaking.
