Military's 27th Infantry Battalion Present During Attacks

The Mexican Army's 27th Infantry Battalion, based in Iguala, was present and monitoring events during the attacks. Soldiers observed the situation but did not intervene to protect the students. This later became central to allegations of state involvement and military complicity.
