Artemis I Rolls Out to Launch Pad 39B for First Time
The fully stacked Artemis I SLS/Orion vehicle — 322 feet tall, 5.75 million pounds — rolled out of the VAB to Launch Pad 39B over approximately 11 hours on the crawler-transporter. This was the first Moon rocket rollout since Apollo 17 in December 1972. The milestone began the Artemis I launch campaign and opened the wet dress rehearsal phase.
