Ovidio Guzmán Captured by Mexican Army in Culiacán

Mexican Army forces intercepted a convoy of six armored trucks in Culiacán's Jesús María district, capturing Ovidio Guzmán López — son of El Chapo and alleged leader of the Los Chapitos Sinaloa Cartel faction. Authorities immediately transferred him to El Altiplano prison to prevent a repeat of the 2019 Culiacanazo.
