Around 40 Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA) militants attacked the police station, the assistant commissioner's office and a bank in Bhag city, Sibi district, Balochistan, in the early hours of September 4, 2026, using heavy weapons including rocket launchers, machine guns, sniper rifles and hand grenades, according to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind. Police, backed by local residents, resisted for nearly two hours, preventing the attackers from seizing the police station or its weapons; the Bomb Disposal Unit later defused an IED the militants had planted inside the bank, which they failed to loot. Five people were injured, including two police officers and three civilians. ISPR said security forces killed 2 militants in the exchange as the rest were forced to retreat; this toll is included within the province-wide 48-militant, 72-hour tally ISPR announced the same day.
