Pakistan Kills 21 TTP Militants in Multiple Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations; Revises North Waziristan Infiltration Toll to 25
Pakistan's military said security forces killed 21 Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) militants in multiple engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 3 and 5, 2026. ISPR said 10 militants were killed in a fresh clash in North Waziristan and 7 more in a separate North Waziristan engagement, while joint operations in Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan districts killed 4. Clearance operations were continuing. Separately, ISPR revised upward the toll from the August 31-September 1 North Waziristan cross-border infiltration attempt, saying the number of militants 'trying to infiltrate and effectively neutralised' had risen to 25, up from the 15 initially reported. ISPR said the repeated border incidents 'vindicated' Pakistan's position that the Afghan Taliban had failed to deny the use of Afghan soil to militant groups.
