Pakistan Security Forces Kill 12 Militants in Kalat Intelligence-Based Operation

Pakistan's military said security forces killed 12 Fitna al-Hindustan (India-backed) militants in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan's Kalat district on September 2, 2026. ISPR said a militant hideout was identified, monitored and then busted in a surgical action, killing all twelve terrorists on-site; a cache of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices was destroyed. Sanitization operations continued in the area to eliminate any remaining militants. This operation preceded and fed into the province-wide 72-hour, 48-terrorist toll ISPR announced on September 4.
