Premature VBIED Blast and Follow-Up Operation Kill 18 Militants in Balochistan's Surab District

A vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) being prepared by militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (Pakistan's term for India-linked Baloch separatist networks) detonated prematurely in Surab district, Balochistan, killing eight militants and reportedly killing three civilians and injuring several others. Security forces launched a joint clearance operation in the area, detecting and engaging fleeing militants and killing 10 more; two soldiers were injured in the follow-up operation. ISPR said the combined incident neutralized 18 militants in total.
