Security Forces Kill 10 TTP Militants in South Waziristan and Dir Operations

Pakistani security forces killed 10 militants belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij (the state's term for TTP) in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Azam Warsak, South Waziristan, troops repelled an attempted attack on checkpoints, killing 8 militants in the ensuing exchange of fire. In a separate operation in Dir district, security forces killed 2 more militants. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from both sites; President Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif commended the operations.
