US and Pakistan Hold Fourth Counterterrorism Dialogue in Washington, Pledge Joint Action Against TTP, ISIS-K, BLA
The United States and Pakistan convened the Fourth US-Pakistan Counterterrorism Dialogue in Washington, D.C., led by US Coordinator for Counterterrorism Ambassador Gregory LoGerfo and Pakistan's Foreign Ministry Special Secretary Ambassador Nabeel Munir. The two sides reaffirmed joint resolve to confront ISIS-Khorasan, al-Qaeda, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), exchanging assessments of the threat environment and discussing measures to strengthen border security and disrupt terrorist facilitation networks.
