CNN, MS NOW and Politico Sue Trump Administration Over White House Access

The three news organizations banned from the White House filed a First Amendment lawsuit in federal court on Sept. 21 seeking to restore their access. Major broadcast networks separately announced they would halt shared pool video coverage of the president until CNN's access was restored, in a show of solidarity across outlets.
