DOJ Reaches Antitrust Settlement Over Algorithmic Rent-Pricing Coordination
The Justice Department's Antitrust Division filed a proposed consent decree with Willow Bridge Property Company LLC, a major Dallas-based landlord, resolving claims that it violated the Sherman Act by using RealPage's algorithmic pricing tools to share competitively sensitive rent data with rival landlords and align pricing. The settlement builds on prior consent decrees in the same case against RealPage Inc., Cortland Management, Greystar Management, and LivCor; Willow Bridge agreed to stop algorithmic coordination and information-sharing with competitors.
