Russian Mass Strikes on Kyiv, Kremenchuk, and Kryvyi Rih Kill 7, Injure 51
Russian forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Kyiv, Kremenchuk (Poltava Oblast), and Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) overnight, using Onyx supersonic anti-ship missiles, Iskander-M and North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles, S-400-launched projectiles, X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles, and 106 long-range attack drones including Shahed-type loitering munitions. At least 7 civilians were killed and 51 injured across Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, and Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Odesa, and Mykolaiv oblasts. The ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih steel plant — in President Zelensky's hometown — was struck directly, killing 2 employees/contractors and injuring 13. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 85 of 106 drones and 3 of the guided missiles.
