Russian Strikes Hit Kyiv Logistics Hub and Zaporizhstal Steel Plant Using North Korean Missiles

| Ukraine

Overnight August 10-11, Russian forces launched a combined ballistic missile, hypersonic missile, and drone strike package against Ukraine, hitting the Nova Poshta sorting complex in Kyiv (triggering fires) and the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant in Zaporizhzhia, which Russia said produced armor steel for Ukraine's military. Ukrainian officials reported six to seven people killed and 20 injured at the Zaporizhzhia plant, with Kyiv's General Staff confirming Russia used North Korean-supplied KN-23 ballistic missiles in the strike package — part of a pattern of battle-testing Pyongyang-supplied weapons under combat conditions.
