Russia Launches Massive Overnight Strike — Dnipro Hardest Hit, 10 Dead

Russia launched one of the largest aerial strikes of 2026, deploying 47 missiles and 619 drones in an overnight attack across Ukraine. Dnipro was hardest hit, with 8 people killed and 49 wounded including 2 children. At least 2 additional civilians were killed in other regions. Ukraine's air defense shot down or suppressed 610 of the 619 drones and most of the missiles. The attack targeted civilian infrastructure, residential apartment blocks, and energy facilities. Ukrainian officials condemned the strikes as deliberate mass terror against civilians.
