A Russian KAB guided aerial bomb struck a high-rise residential building in Sumy late on September 18, hitting directly between the third and fourth floors. Two Sumy City Council executive committee employees — a 52-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman — were killed. At least 7-8 people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl, with three in serious condition; four people, including a child, were pulled from the rubble as search-and-rescue operations continued.
