Russian Drone Swarm Sets Zaporizhzhia Shopping Center Ablaze

Russian forces launched a coordinated overnight swarm of roughly 92 Shahed-type attack drones along with Gerbera and Parody decoy drones at Zaporizhzhia, striking the City Mall shopping center in the early hours of September 7. Regional Defense Council co-head Ivan Fedorov said the strike sparked six separate fires covering about 700 square meters; no casualties were reported, though the mall was heavily damaged and expected to remain closed through the end of September.
