Russian Overnight Barrage Damages 21-Story Odesa Apartment Building, Injuring 17

| Ukraine War

Russia launched a large overnight aerial assault on Ukraine involving 174 attack drones, two ballistic missiles, and two air-launched missiles, with Odesa among the hardest-hit cities. A strike damaged 20 apartments between the 10th and 17th floors of a 21-story residential building and destroyed 12 parked cars nearby, injuring 17 people including 3 children. Odesa City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak said eight of the injured came from the residential building itself, with additional casualties from strikes on other infrastructure across the city. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed it targeted port and military-related infrastructure; Ukrainian officials said residential areas were hit.
