Ukraine launched more than 620 long-range drones at Moscow region overnight into August 18 in one of its largest air assaults of the war, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who said 180 drones were destroyed over Moscow Oblast (Russia's Defense Ministry claimed 791 downed across 13 regions). Drones struck a Wildberries e-commerce logistics warehouse — already hit in a prior August 16 attack — with reports of billions of rubles in losses, along with a residential building in Pavlovsky Posad, a chemical plant in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, a shopping center in Kolomna, and facilities in Elektrostal and Lyubertsy.
