Wagner Group Mutiny: Prigozhin's March on Moscow

| Ukraine War

Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin launched an armed rebellion against Russia's military leadership, capturing Rostov-on-Don and marching his forces up the M4 highway toward Moscow. His column advanced to within approximately 200km of Moscow before halting. A deal brokered by Belarusian President Lukashenko sent Prigozhin to Belarus and dropped criminal charges. It was the most significant internal challenge to Putin's authority in his 23-year rule.
