Rep. Burlison Confirms Release of Sought 1952 Ruppelt 'Flying Saucer Talk' Recording, Citing Nuclear-Site UAP Pattern

Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) announced that a reel-to-reel recording he had specifically requested — labeled "AF-ATIC-FILM, 03/52" and titled "flying saucer talk," a March 1952 presentation by Air Force officer Edward J. Ruppelt on the service's early UAP investigations — was released with an accompanying transcript through the Department of War's PURSUE portal (the same audio item that had appeared, without this framing, in PURSUE Tranche 6 on Sept 18). In the recording, Ruppelt identified concentrations of UAP reports around Los Alamos, Albuquerque, White Sands, and Oak Ridge — all nuclear-related sites — and described unexplained Air Defense Command radar returns indicating speeds between roughly 1,000 and 3,500 mph, while cautioning investigators had not ruled out radar malfunction or atmospheric phenomena.
