Rep. Burchett: Classified Briefings Described Technology 'Far Beyond Anything Known to the Public'

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), member of the House Oversight Task Force on UAP, stated in public interviews that officials provided him with classified briefings describing 'technology far beyond anything known to the public' including craft with 'capabilities that current human science cannot explain.' Burchett stated he had been briefed by 'just about every alphabet agency' and offered to take a lie detector test to support his claims. He noted that any civilization capable of traveling to Earth 'would likely have had the power to harm humanity already if that had been its goal.' His statements followed the September 9, 2025 whistleblower hearing and escalated pressure on the Pentagon ahead of Trump's May 20, 2026 EO deadline.
