Taiwan MND Detects 6 PLA Aircraft Sorties, 8 PLAN Vessels

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense detected 6 sorties of PLA aircraft and 8 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan on March 20. Four of the 6 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern and eastern ADIZ. ROC Armed Forces deployed CAP aircraft, Navy ships, and coastal missile systems in response. Activity remained at moderate post-NPC levels, well below the pre-Two Sessions baseline of over 300 monthly sorties.
