Transporter-16 Scrubbed: High Winds at Vandenberg
SpaceX's first launch attempt for the Transporter-16 rideshare mission from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base was scrubbed due to high upper-level winds. The mission carries 119 payloads — including CubeSats, microsatellites, hosted payloads, a reentry vehicle, and orbital transfer vehicles carrying 8 additional payloads for later deployment — all destined for Sun-synchronous orbit. Booster B1081, on its 23rd flight, was scrubbed before liftoff. The drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' was pre-positioned in the Pacific Ocean for booster recovery. The mission was rescheduled for a later attempt.
