Samsung and Mistral AI Sign Partnership to Apply AI to Chip Production

| Korea

Samsung Electronics and French AI developer Mistral AI signed an MOU at the Elysee Palace, witnessed by President Lee Jae-myung and President Macron, under which Samsung is set to lead roughly €3 billion (~₩4.68 trillion) in investment and raise its stake in Mistral. Samsung plans to deploy Mistral's AI technology across its chip manufacturing floors to improve yields and process efficiency, particularly for sub-2-nanometer node production, part of a broader Korea-France 'advanced industries' alliance struck during Lee's state visit.
