Day 798: Two Culiacán Shootings Wound a Windshield Cleaner and a Man at Home; Houses Riddled in Progreso and Díaz Ordaz

On September 28, 2026, further armed attacks were reported in Culiacán: Juan Carlos 'N', 19, a windshield cleaner, was shot at Avenida Universitarios and Calle Novena in the Ignacio Allende neighborhood and taken to hospital; Jesús 'N', 33, was wounded in an attack on his home in the Antonio Nakayama neighborhood; and gunmen fired on two unoccupied or uninjured residences in the Progreso and Díaz Ordaz neighborhoods, causing structural damage. Reports also carry the Montesierra double homicide (Rubén Alonso 'N', 28, and Rosario 'N', 30), already logged under September 27.
