Day 794: Handcuffed Man Found Executed Near Municipal Landfill, Bicentenario Neighborhood, North Culiacán

Late on the night of Thursday, September 24, 2026 (security authorities confirmed the discovery around 10:30 PM), the body of an unidentified man was found on a dirt access road near the municipal sanitary landfill in the Bicentenario neighborhood, north Culiacán. The victim — regular build, brown complexion, wearing a gray shirt and brown shorts — was lying face-up with gunshot wounds, his face covered with a pair of blue pants and his hands handcuffed behind his back. Army (SEDENA) personnel were first to respond before the state Fiscalía General took over the investigation. No identification or narco-message was reported at the scene.
