Day 765: Seven Killed in a Single Day Across Culiacán, Mazatlán and Escuinapa

The Sinaloa State Attorney General's Office (FGE) reported the discovery of seven people without life across three municipalities on Thursday, August 27, 2026, opening four formal investigation files for intentional homicide. In Culiacán, two victims were found in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood and a third in the Nuevo México neighborhood. In Mazatlán, three men were found dead in the Estero neighborhood. In Escuinapa, one person was located along the Escuinapa–Teacapán state highway. The FGE also logged four vehicle-theft reports and two forced-disappearance complaints during the same 24-hour period. No arrests were announced in connection with the killings.
