Bodies with Narco-Messages Left in Culiacán's Costa Rica Neighborhood

Bodies of suspected Chapitos-aligned gunmen are discovered in Culiacán's Costa Rica neighborhood, left with narco-messages (narco-mantas) claiming responsibility from Rugrat-affiliated La Mayiza operatives. The incident is one of dozens of similar incidents recorded in January 2025 as both factions use public body displays as psychological warfare against each other and the civilian population.
