Sheinbaum Condemns Decapitation of Calderón Statue at Los Pinos on Two-Year Anniversary

At her Oct 1 morning conference, marking two years in office, Sheinbaum said she disagreed with former Luz y Fuerza del Centro workers decapitating the statue of Felipe Calderón at Los Pinos and with how they entered, rejecting any act of violence. She also criticised Calderón's participation in the Free Americas Forum, said AMLO's video presenting his new book was emotional and thanked him, and explained the scope and timing of the constitutional reform on nationality requirements for gubernatorial candidates.
