Sheinbaum reiterated that the package "no contempla nuevos impuestos ni va a haber gasolinazos" (contemplates no new taxes and no fuel-price shocks), framing it as "responsible" and protective of welfare, health and education spending while pursuing gradual fiscal consolidation and reinforced anti-tax-evasion enforcement rather than new levies. She announced a new Digital Economy Law would be sent to Congress alongside the package, aimed at gradually reducing cash usage in commercial transactions through phased targets and timelines, promoting secure digital payment platforms, and providing incentives and training tools to help micro and small businesses adopt electronic collection methods without hurting their income.
