Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry joined counterparts from Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey and Qatar in a joint statement condemning remarks by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Defense Minister Israel Katz calling for the forced removal of Palestinians from Gaza. The eight governments denounced the proposals as a 'blatant violation of international humanitarian law,' reaffirmed that Gaza is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and called on the UN Security Council to confront any attempt to impose a new demographic reality there. The statement reiterated Saudi Arabia's longstanding position that lasting peace requires a two-state solution, not displacement.
